ING Firefighters Mutual Bank ANZ
Our mission

To help Emergency Services and Essential Workers achieve their financial goals.

Our History

Oz Credit and Finance Pty Ltd was established in 2018 by Nishant Ramavat and Ashish Shrestha and today trades as Triple O Finance. What began as a mortgage and finance broking business has developed into a specialist lending service with a particular understanding of Emergency Services, Essential Workers and Professionals whose income may not always fit neatly into a standard lending assessment.

Built on 26 Years of combined policing experience

Before entering finance, Nishant and Ashish spent 14 and 12 years in policing, respectively. That firsthand experience gave them an understanding of shift work, overtime, allowances, and the financial realities that can accompany demanding professional careers.

It is one of the reasons Triple O Finance has developed a particular focus on helping Emergency Services and Essential Workers navigate lender policies and structure their lending appropriately.

Nishant Ramavat

CO-Founder, director & senior Mortgage and finance broker

Nishant's 14-year policing background gives him firsthand insight into the working patterns, income structures and financial decisions faced by Emergency Services workers. Today, he brings that experience to helping clients navigate lending strategy and lender policy.

Ashish Shrestha

CO-Founder, director & senior mortgage and finance broker

Ashish brings 12 years of policing experience together with his lending and operational expertise. His ongoing formal study through the Australian Institute of Management has further supported his focus on building a structured, client-centred lending experience.

“A loan should be structured to fit the client's actual situation, not just look competitive on a rate sheet.”

Their shared experience ultimately shaped the way Triple O Finance approaches lending today. Through the Finance Navigator Framework, the team looks beyond the interest rate to understand a client's objectives, identify potential lending constraints, design an appropriate pathway and manage the application through to settlement and beyond.

Our Vision

To be the most trusted choice for Emergency and Essential Services workers seeking to achieve their homeownership and property investment goals.

Who You Are Actually Dealing With

Nishant Ramavat

Co-Founder, Director & Senior Mortgage and Finance Broker

Before moving into finance, Nishant spent 14 years with the NSW Police Force. That experience gave him a firsthand understanding of the working lives of emergency professionals - from shift work and overtime to the financial decisions that often need to be made around family, property and career.

In 2018, he co-founded Oz Credit and Finance Pty Ltd, now trading as Triple O Finance. Since then, his lending experience has expanded to include residential and investment property finance, as well as more complex structures involving self-managed super funds (SMSFs), trusts and companies.

His Master of Financial Planning has further shaped his approach to lending. Rather than viewing a loan as a one-off transaction, Nishant considers how the structure may affect borrowing capacity, future property purchases, and longer - term financial objectives.

For him, getting a loan approved is important - but ensuring the lending structure makes sense for where the client wants to go next is equally important.

Ashish Shrestha

Co-Founder, Director & Senior Finance and Mortgage Broker

Before moving into finance, Ashish spent 12 years in policing. That experience shaped the way he approaches clients and their lending today - understand the circumstances first, look closely at the details, and don't assume that every application fits the same template.

In 2018, he co-founded Oz Credit and Finance Pty Ltd, now trading as Triple O Finance. Since then, Ashish has played a central role in developing the business's lending and operational approach, working across residential, investment and more complex finance scenarios.

Ashish believes a good lending outcome often comes down to understanding the differences between lender policies. Whether it is how a lender assesses overtime and allowances, the deposit required, LMI eligibility or the way an application is structured, he focuses on finding the lending pathway that fits the client's actual circumstances rather than simply processing an application.

Alongside his work at Triple O Finance, Ashish has continued his formal studies in business and financial management through the Australian Institute of Management, including financial resource management, operational improvement and business decision-making and analysis. He also holds a degree from Charles Sturt University.

His finance industry experience has also taken him internationally. Ashish was a featured panellist at the Money 2.0 Conference in Las Vegas, where he discussed innovation and inclusion in lending and fintech. Triple O Finance also received an Outstanding Leadership Award at the event.

For Ashish, a successful loan isn't simply one that settles. It is one where the client understands the decision they are making, feels comfortable with the structure and knows why that particular lending solution was chosen.

Shikha Goyal

Finance Broker

Shikha brings extensive experience in mortgage broking, business operations and process improvement to Triple O Finance. Her approach is centred on making the lending process organised, accurate and as straightforward as possible for clients.

Before moving into mortgage broking, Shikha worked with BOC in operational and business improvement roles, where she developed significant experience in process automation, data analysis, quality control and resolving complex customer and operational issues. That background has shaped the way she manages lending applications today - identifying potential problems early, maintaining attention to detail and keeping applications moving through each stage of the process.

At Triple O Finance, Shikha works closely with clients and lenders throughout the lending journey. She believes that a good client experience comes from more than securing approval; clients should understand what is happening, know what is required of them, and feel supported from application through to settlement.

Shikha holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, a Diploma of Project Management, a Diploma in Financial Services and a Certificate IV in Financial Services.

For Shikha, the best lending process is one that feels simple to the client, even when there is considerable work happening behind the scenes.

FAQs

Home Loan Questions Answered

Everything you need to know about home loans, refinancing and borrowing in Australia.

Your borrowing capacity depends on your income, expenses, existing debts and lender policies. Each lender assesses this differently, which is why getting the right advice can make a significant difference.

Most lenders require a deposit of at least 5%–20% of the property value. However, options such as guarantor loans or certain professional policies may allow you to buy with a lower deposit.

LMI is a one-off cost that applies when your deposit is less than 20%. Some lenders offer LMI waivers for certain professions or scenarios, which can result in significant savings.

Approval timeframes vary depending on the lender and your situation. With the right preparation and guidance, many applications can receive conditional approval within a few days.

Refinancing may be worth considering if your interest rate is no longer competitive, your financial situation has changed, or you want to access equity or restructure your loan.

Yes, refinancing can potentially reduce your repayments by securing a better interest rate or extending the loan term. However, it's important to assess long-term impact, not just short-term savings.

Yes, certain professions such as healthcare workers, emergency services and other professionals may have access to benefits such as reduced deposit requirements or LMI waivers depending on the lender.

Lenders assess income differently, especially when it includes overtime, allowances or shift loading. Some lenders are more flexible than others, which is why structuring your application correctly is critical.

The right home loan depends on your goals, financial position and future plans. It's not just about the lowest interest rate — it's about structuring your loan to support your long-term strategy.

A mortgage broker can offer access to a wider range of loan products and rates from multiple lenders, potentially saving you money and time. They can also provide expert guidance and support throughout the loan application process.
